Theodore Roosevelt Nat’l Park – Team Sh!tgoose represents

Al, Max, and Logger packed up the bikes and backpacking gear on route to ND.  We did it up in Sh!tgoose bridge N style as we took the ride and strategic hang out locations to the ND Badlands.   We rode the Scenic Loop Drive at the park.  This is probably one of the most scenic routes I’ve ever been on.  My bike thanked me at the end of the day.  We had to dodge multiple buffalo as they were hanging out right on the road.  It was 30 miles of constant climbs and descends (I think we climbed about 3,000 feet total) .  Al was strong enough to rock it on a single speed.  I was wicked proud of him even though I heard a few grumbles.  Encourage Al to pick up a geared bike the next time you see him.  Oh yeah, Al now prefers salty-ass dried beef in the can over cold cuts.  Be sure to check out the photos.

Sh!tgoose won some medals at the velodrome

Yeah, we got a couple of medals for the team this year.  August 10th was the Minnesota State Championships for time trials.  Andy took silver in the 4000 meter Cat 4 mens individual time trial and bronze in the team sprint.  Here are a couple of pics from the August 9th Cat 4 scratch 40 lap – MN state championship race.
