Join Sh!tgoose at the 2nd Annual Powderhorn 24 Bike Race
Sh!tgoose had a blast representin’ at Minneapolis’ 1st Annual Powderhorn 24 last year in August and we are ready to be there again this summer with even more shittygooseyness!
What is Powderhorn 24? Individuals or teams of up to 6 (relay race style – taking turns riding) speed around a 3 mile long road course in the Powderhorn neighborhood (south minneapolis). It is filled with pitstops, bonus rounds, community support and bike-tastic awesomeness.
Friday June 22 – Saturday June 23, 7pm-7pm
This year Sh!tgoose will be joining the teams that camp out along the green way during the event (we’ll have a van up top too for those that need a nap away from the noise) in Midtown.
Reserve your spot on a Sh!tgoose Team! Let me (Molly) shitgoosebikes@gmail.com know if you want a spot on a Sh!tgoose team and which team suits you best. We’ll have a couple different teams (split up by peoples’ interest in being competitive/skill level) No matter which team you choose to be on, we’ll all be hangin’ out having fun together throughout the event!
Which group is for you?
- Sh!tgoose #1 – these screamin’ eagles are fast paced, and out to win a trophy
- Sh!tgoose #2 – if you want to go fast and want to have some fun but don’t think you can keep up with #1, this is for you
- Sh!tgoose #3 – a great fit if you want to ride but aren’t really the competitve type and/or you don’t know if you/your bike will make it through the whole event
- Sh!tgoose Support Squad – whether its droppin’ off snacks, doing a ride along to keep the team company for a lap or two, taking pics at the event for the Sh!tgoose website or being part of the Sh!tgoose Pitstop Crew located on the route to cheer riders on, you want to be there for the team!
RSVP NO LATER THAN APRIL 14 to ride at Powderhorn 24 as part of Sh!tgoose.
Specifics on cost (tbd – around $15?), stuff to bring, who’s on what team will be emailed out mid-April.
